  The very first plastic surgery summer fashion show was held last June 12, 2008 in Long Island, New York. The fashion show was graced by the extreme makeover patients of the New York area doctors. This, I believe, was conducted in order to promote the plastic surgery awareness in the locality.

  The real-life ‘Swans’ paraded their new looks at the Bethpage State Park-Carlyle on the Green on 99 Quaker Meeting Rd., Farmingdale, Long Island NY, wearing the hottest styles from the best designers in town. This actually serves as a ‘coming out’ party for all of them including the first ever male cosmetic surgery model, who will grace the stage along with the Swans.

  The activity was attended by family and friends of the participants, who have never been this happy considering that their lives have been completely changed by the wonders of cosmetic surgery.

  We can deduce that the purpose behind such activity is to end the struggle of plastic surgery patients who might have hidden their plastic surgery makeovers to their friends and family. The show tells that getting plastic surgery is not something that one should be ashamed of that everyone has the right to decide on making themselves look better.
