Yoga Facelift – another non-surgical alternative

  There is a new alternative to getting rid of wrinkles via surgery and Botox. This one is called Yoga Facelift, in which participants try to work out the muscles in the face in order to create a more youthful appearance.

  Yoga has been known to improve the state of the mind and body, and the individuals behind Yoga facelift think that Yoga is also very good for the face. And that those who are aching to have youthful looks can use it to appear younger without going under the knife.

  Facial Yoga is introduced by Marie-Veronique Nadeau, author of the book “The Yoga Facelift.” Nadeau is a chemist and a licensed aesthetician.

  Facial Yoga is a type of yoga that requires sense of humor and an open mind. It promises to produce a result that is decidedly a different king of face lift. It focuses on tiny muscles in the face that most people don’t ever think of working out.

  Nadeau stressed that there are 190 muscles in the face and neck and one needs to exercise them in order to achieve a much younger look. She assured that these facial exercises and stretches don’t create more wrinkles. The facial exercises are supposed to make muscles underneath the facial skin work. Pushing or stretching the face is not what these exercises are all about.

  It is said that it takes a few weeks to see the results of the exercises. Though the method cannot provide the drastic change that a surgical facelift gives, Yoga Facelift practitioners attest that the method really works.

  While it is interesting to note that several methods have sprouted that claim to provide the best way to eliminate facial wrinkles, it is best that individuals who are planning to address their facial problems do their own research about these various alternatives in order for them to make informed decisions. Yoga Facelift appears to be a harmless way of warding off wrinkles but its effectiveness still has to be verified.
